Dusk (2022)
"Dusk" is my SVA first year animated film made in partnership with Eli Kurland.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions" takes its toll as a distraught young girl heightens her methods to save her kidnapped sister.
In Good Fortune (2022)
"In Good Fortune I Find Flowers" is a short film idea visually realized in a full pitch bible project completed at the end of my first year at SVA. Created assets for the project include an 11 page script and treatment, a storyboarded segment, and character/environmental development art.
Loaves Into Flowers (2021)
"Loaves into Flowers" is a visual poem of admiration as a daughter watches her mother open up her bakery in the morning. As the story goes on, there is a realization that the poem isn’t just from the daughter towards her mother, but a mutual admiration of the mother towards her daughter.
Laundry Day (2020)
"Laundry Day" is a short story webcomic I created in 2020 for Webtoon's short story webcomic contest under the category "heart". It has three episodes and took the course of three months to make. Although it did not win, it was recognized by the Webtoon team as a runner-up, and to have a story that involved a lot of personal elements be recognized by the company meant a lot.
A young Ecuadorian boy grows up in the US with a familial routine that tests the bonds between family, and questions the divide between generations."
Fathoms (2019)
A city inhabited by fish people and other aquatic hybrids finds itself facing mysterious metallurgic explosions of metal buildings in the area. At the same time, garbageman Fischer Lee finds himself over the care of mysterious extraterrestrial siblings Lem and Orbie while learning to accept unexpected choices and consequences on top of existential dread."
The story would explore the themes of found family, destiny, and how we deal with the cards society dealt us while the same societal systems simultaneously collapse.
